Central Macedonia is one of the thirteen peripheries of Greece, being the central part of Greek Macedonia. It is divided into the prefectures of Chalcidice, Imathia, Kilkis, Pella, Pieria, Serres, and Thessaloniki. The building of Central Macedonia Periphery is located in Taki Ekonomidi Avenue, in Eastern Thessaloniki. The population is around 2 million, the second biggest in Greece.
