Oxya or Oxia (Greek: Οξυά), also with the a accented is a Greek mountainous village (altitude 900 m) 56 km from Karditsa located west of Karditsa in the western part of the Karditsa Prefecture. It is on the north side of Mount Karavas (2184 m) surrounded by other peaks Malias (1970m), Voutsikaki (2154 m), Ai-Lia (or Profitis Ilias 1758m). It was called in the past Siam a short version of Siamos. In 1930 it was renamed after a forrest of beech (gr. oxya) trees in the SE of the village. The village was founded probably in the period 1393/1422. In 1770 Saint Kosmas o Aitolos visited the village. Its residents are based in agriculture.

Oxya is part of the Mouzaki municipality.
